Doing your part to make a difference can encompass anything from volunteering at a hospital or nursing home to serving on a community board or joining a service organizations. It can mean making concious decisions in your daily life of donating time or money to a cause you believe in. The act of getting involved can encompass a huge array of activities, causes and ideas. Choosing to give of your time and energy is powerful and meaningful, to both you and those you serve. If you won't do it, who will?
